Meet The Powell Chiropractic Health Center Team

Geoffrey Powell, DC

DOCTOR OF CHIROPRACTIC

Dr. Powell has his degree in nutrition from the University of Florida, and Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Parker College of Chiropractic. He is a diplomate of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners with licenses in both Texas and Florida, and maintains active membership in the American Chiropractic Association, Mid-Florida Chiropractic Society and Florida Chiropractic Association, while consistently attending continuing education courses and researching the latest innovations throughout the health field.

With more than 20 years of practical experience, Dr. Powell's mission is to inspire a health revolution by taking a "whole person approach" with his patients, listening to their needs, educating them on the Core Four, and helping them remove the interference from their body's natural healing system.

Kevin Huffman, DO

Doctor of Osteopathic

Dr. Huffman is an osteopathic physician with over 35 years of experience treating injured athletes and auto injuries like whiplash and back pain. He has treated thousands of car accident patients in comprehensive injury centers over the past three decades working side by side with chiropractic physicians, physical therapists, pain management physicians, orthopedic physicians, and neurosurgeons.

Dr. Huffman joined the medical team of Powell Chiropractic Health Center to bring his medical expertise in injury care to Newberry’s most experienced and trusted medical injury center.

Hannah Caruso, AP

Acupuncture Physician

Hannah joined Powell Chiropractic in 2023 as an Acupuncture Physician. She has been practicing acupuncture for over 6 years. She holds a Masters of Traditional Chinese Medicine from Five Branches University, Santa Cruz, CA. She has extensive postgraduate training in sports and orthopedic acupuncture and classical Chinese herbalism. Hannah specializes in treating a wide range of conditions, including chronic pain, pain, orthopedic injuries, women's health, stress/anxiety, and more.

Miguel Aguayo, LMT

Licensed Massage Therapist

Miguel is a skilled and compassionate massage therapist passionate about promoting health and wellness. With over 10 years of experience in the field, Miguel has developed a deep understanding of the human body and the therapeutic benefits of massage. He pursued extensive training in various massage techniques, including myofascial release techniques, trigger point therapy and PNF stretches. This diverse skill set allows him to tailor each session to meet the unique needs and preferences of his clients.

Halie S.

Chiropractic Assistant

Halie joined the Powell Chiropractic team in 2022 as a Chiropractic Assistant and Practice Coordinator. She has several years of healthcare experience that she is bringing to the practice! From handling billing and scheduling to handling new patient exams - she wears many hats here. We are happy to have her on our team and she is happy to give our patients the care and attention they deserve. Be sure to say hello to her when you come by!

Haley L.

Chiropractic Assistant

Haley is from Williston, FL, and has joined our team in 2024 with over 3 years of Chiropractic Assistant experience. She has a huge passion for chiropractic care and patient education. She also specializes in Red Light and Infrared therapy. Haley enjoys homesteading, singing on her worship team, and spending time with her family. You’ll also find her at the front desk so be sure to say hi when you come in!

Ann joined our team in 2024 with over 25 years of healthcare administrative experience under her belt. She possess a strong background in customer service and management within a variety of medical specialties. She has worked every position from medical records to practice management.
